Duterte lamented the damage that it has usually wrought against government projects; Fourth, Pres. Duterte even confronted the protesters after his SONA and addressing the crowd on a makeshift stage, promised them all the liberty to yell, holler and shout in protest till kingdom come. Lastly, after assailing the disadvantages of the government’s STANDARD PROCUREMENT PROCESS, and citing an example as to how corruption works (using the LOWEST BIDDER route as device to short-change the government) and how the government ends up as loser to such LOWEST BID deals.]

MABUHAY ANG ATING PANGULONG DIGONG!!!!

[Legend: 1 – Nag-iimis-imis is a Tagalog term which means “taking one’s time” and/or “contemplating” and/or “planning”.

 2 – A lot of tongues are wagging as to why the AFP with all the military might that has been transferred/relocated to Marawi could not easily overtake the stragglers left behind by the rebellious Maute group. Per the revelation made by Pres. Duterte, the Maute group has really planned for so long time this uprising and that they have really put up a stockpile of ammunition and explosives via the series of underground TUNNELS in the whole of the Marawi’s Maute-controlled enclaves.

2a – The MAUTE Group is some kind of the progenitor of the ISIS-inspired group which intends to install a caliphate in Marawi City under the auspices and the control of ISIS.

3 – I have heard from reliable sources and this was personally confirmed to me by my fraternity brod, Jamel Lucman who sported the nom-de-guerre Commander Junglefox of the infamous Blackshirts of the 1970s, that during the height of the 1970 Moro Rebellion there were times that his rebel troops were literally cornered and overwhelmed. But, surprisingly the assault will be suspended as though giving them the chance to escape. The suspicion then was there were generals in the military then who wanted to sustain the rebellion. This was supposedly the case just like what happened in the 1950s where suspected efforts to maintain in the national budget, an appropriation for the fight against the HUKS (i.e. Hukbong Magpapalaya ng Bayan or HMB which is the progenitor of the NPA), the so-called entry maliciously labeled as “budgetary HUKS”.

4 – In my more than 60 years of life in the Philippines and having watched the STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESSES of a number of Presidents of the Republic, this was the first time I have seen and heard novel ideas, suggestions  and obsessions on the part of the sitting President during the SONA.

5 – MINING PITS would refer to the mining companies especially the irresponsible ones who have caused much peril, prejudice and damage to the environment.

6 –  LOW DOWN would mean the true and despicable facts or relevant information about something, in this case about the MINING INDUSTRY in the Philippines.

7 – BIGKIS would refer to the belt together with the HOLSTER which usually have a gun tucked inside it. But for the first time in the history of SONA of these past decades, the police officers did not have guns, truncheons and shields.

8 – The result of the deployment of those gun-less police officers was TERRIFIC, a no-spat, no-quarrel confrontation between the protesters and the police officers.

9 – PICKET, every year those protesters particularly those from the LEFT would line up in a seeming PICKET and would holler a lot of slogans and fiery yells to sort of create trouble and disorder. But at this (i.e. July 24, 2017)  SONA, no such spat, quarrel and/or commotion happened.

10 – President Duterte faced the PROTESTERS and a makeshift stage and told them that they can holler, yell and shout till kingdom come and even challenged who ever wants to kill him to unlatch the lever in the supposed grenade and throw it at him. No one moved, no one threw even a piece of boiled egg.

11 – President Duterte conveyed a very reverential message actually an SOS from the rostrum during the SONA asking the JUDICIARY’s help to be prudent in the issuance of TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDERS with regard to government projects. Pres. Duterte gave as example the REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH LAW against which a TRO was issued by the Supreme Court, two (2) years ago and for such an issuance, about Php 360 Million worth of medicines would be laid to waste (as the meds will expire next month).

12 – TRO is acronym for TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER.

13 – SHELVES with denote the need for the courts to think twice or thrice or seven times seven, as the issuance of TROs against government projects has truly impeded our country’s progress.

14 –   In another swipe in the inefficient and corrupt-ridden BIDDING PROCEDURE where favor is accorded the lowest bidder, Pres. Duterte cited as an example a project for the construction of an airport which due to the slicing up of the total project funds as bribe-money (and ending up with just half of the total funds for the project), led to the usage of the supposed airport as a mere basketball court instead of an airport.

15 – PAKSA means subject and the subject of the discussion pertains to the government’s BIDDING PROCEDURE.

16 –  MIGHTY CORP is MIGHTY CORPORATION which refers to a cigarette factory which was imposed a FINE of almost Php 40 Billion for allegedly tampering BIR stamps affixed on their cigarette boxes.

17 –  ABONO is used in this FUN RHYME BLOG to refer to some kind of  booster to enhance the morale and the fighting capability(ies) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

18 – President Duterte committed to cause the purchase/importation of HIGH-TECH DRONES which would reconnoiter and undertake surveillance of areas suspected as being lairs of rebels such as the communists-reds as well as maverick Moro rebels.

At IGNYTA, Ernie is the Senior Clinical laboratory Scientist. The company’s mission is to fight cancer – a formidable opponent that manifests as thousands of different molecularly defined diseases and takes away millions of lives globally, every year. In this fight, IGNYTA’s vision is not just to shrink tumors but to eradicate residual disease – the source of cancer relapse and recurrence – in precisely defined patient populations by 2030.

6 –  I consider ERNIE as a LUMINARY (LUMINARYA being a rough Tagalog equivalent of the term LUMINARY), being a person  who inspires or influences others, and one especially so prominent in a particular sphere. During my talks with ERNIE, I could feel his firm resolve to finally produce/invent a cure for the scourge that is CANCER. And ERNIE has been contributing much of his knowledge and skills to fast-track this route towards a much-awaited CANCER cure.

7 – ERNIE is a member of the team at IGNYTA, INC. and ERNIE is much focused on a continuing research and laboratory work to finally produce a CANCER cure.

8 – In the event this CANCER cure becomes commercially available, I am sure by then almost all cancer patients will be sent home/brought home happily and will be medicated and treated simply via home care.

He exhibited much pluck, audacity and temerity when he virtually engaged our Law Professor in Criminal Law, the late Prof. Bienvenido Ambion, to a debate in class. I would say that Joe got the upper hand in the verbal tussle as Prof. Ambion eventually resorted into argumentum ad hominem, when Prof. Ambion labeled Joe as a mere “upstart”.

 2 – Gloria Camano is GLORIA VERAYO CAMANO, Joe’s gracious better half.

3 – Gloria Camano is the Director of Nursing at the FOUR SEASONS NURSING CENTER located in 8365 N. Newburgh Road, Westland, Michigan 48185-1196 and which operates under the auspices of the MICHIGAN CENTER FOR ASSISTED LIVING. GLORIA indeed is SANDIGAN for most of those patients/clients at the FOUR SEASONS NURSING CENTER. SANDIGAN is a Tagalog word which roughly translated to ENGLISH, is a person unto whom others rely for HELP.

4 – FUNDRAISER – My youngest daughter Ma. Winnalee “Alee” E. 5 – The LEGIT STATUS and the ALLIANCE Teams are both aspiring to bring home the GOLD in the 2017 WHHI which is acronym for WORLD HIPHOP INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION to be held on August 7-12, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona specifically at the Arizona Grand Resort and Spa.

6 –  Daddy Max and I together with my stepmom Mercy, were supposed to travel to the U.S.A. to root and cheer for the TWO (2) PHILIPPINE HIPHOP TEAMS at the 2017 WHHI, and with a planned side trip to Michigan, to visit IDOL JOE.

7 – Because of the oppressive heat being experienced nowadays in Phoenix, Arizona; Daddy Max was not give the GREEN LIGHT by his doctors to travel. We will try to make good that promise to IDOL JOE when the weather has turned a bit RELAXED and not with the sweltering heat of Phoenix’s noon day sun.]

It would appear that a long and winded debate which happened in the VIBER  network of the UP LAW 1979 group transpired, and the exchange became heated between Evelyn and Mon Esguerra aka Ramon E. Esguerra. Reportedly, Mon got the upper hand as he eventually virtually delivered a lecture on the subject until Evelyn supposedly raised her hands in surrender acknowledging Mon’s excellent grasp of the Latin maxim. And Evelyn finally uttered “AMEN”, which thereupon ended the DEBATE.

9 – MON E. is Mon Esguerra aka RAMON E. ESGUERRA. Though MON was unable to attend the get-together, due to a priorly scheduled professional engagement; a major portion of the discussion centered on the “IN PARI DELICTO” VIBER DEBATE.

9a – The use of the Tagalog word SIGA only acknowledges the upper hand which Mon Esguerra achieved in the “IN PARE DELICTO” debate between him and a  host of other VIBER group mates notably Evelyn.

12 – OROQUIETA is Oroquieta City (the city from where Vir Ocaya flew into Manila, just to attend the birthday celebration of Justice Vickie) which is the capital of Misamis Occidental.

[Legend: 1 – DOMINGO is Spanish term for Sunday. Well, last Sunday (July 16, 2017), the LEGIT STATUS Dance Team held its 2^nd FUNDRAISING DANCE concert at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater at the ATENEO. The first FUNDRAISING DANCE concert was held on Saturday, July 15, 2017.

 2 – Ms. Maritess Cordero is a member of the Board of Directors of the ATENEO SCHOOLS PARENTS COUNCIL more popularly known by its acronym ASPAC. I actually requested her to sell the Legit Status dance concert tickets during the July 15, 2017. And as there were THREE (3) tickets left after she rounded up the parents who attended the July 15, 2017 ASPAC meeting, I entrusted the 3 tickets to Ms. Maritess for her and for her kids. But Ms. Maritess got entangled with a more important engagement last Sunday evening (i.e. July 26, 2017), for which reason Ms. Maritess was unable to attend  the 2^nd FUNDRAISING DANCE concert at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater at the ATENEO.

3 – TATLO refers to the THREE (3) remaining tickets for the 2^nd FUNDRAISING DANCE concert at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater at the ATENEO, which I entrusted to Ms. Maritess, after Ms. Maritess diligently went into the motion of selling the tickets before the start of the ASPAC Board meeting on July 15, 2017.

4 – KATOTO is a Tagalog word which means FRIEND.

5 – 5:30 PM was supposedly the appointed time on July 16, 2017 when the ASPAC parents, per Doc Andy Tan’s request, would converge in front of the Henry Lee Irwin Theater to facilitate their convenient entrance into the theater hall.

6 –  ISKIYERDA is a Filipino slang which means to leave a particular place or get out of a venue.

7 – IRWIN is the Henry Lee Irwin Theater of the ATENEO.

8 – ASPAC is the ATENEO SCHOOLS PARENTS COUNCIL more popularly known by its acronym ASPAC.

9 – Doc ANDY is Dr. ALEJANDRO TAN, the incumbent President of the ASPAC.

14 –   My badminton partner during the DOC ANDY TAN BADMINTON CUP held on May 1, 2017 is no other than Ms. Emily Sim dela Cruz, who is also a member of the Board of Directors of ASPAC.

16 –  CHICO is Spanish term for CHILD.

17 –  ALEE is my youngest daughter, Ma. Winnalee E. Young, who is a member of the compete team of the LEGIT STATUS’ Megacrew Division dancers.

21 – ALLIANCE is the other hiphop team which qualified as official Philippine entry to the 2017 WORLD HIPHOP INTERNATIONAL CONTEST (“WHHI”) where my other daughter Cheska aka MA. WINCHESKA E. YOUNG is the Team Manager while her BF, Jayjay San Juan, is the Team Coach.

22 –  ALLIANCE will hold its FUNDRAISING DANCE CONCERTS on July 21, 2107 (i.e. Friday)  and July 28, 2017 (i.e. Friday).

23 –  Today, July 21, 2017 (Friday) will be the FIRST of a series of FUNDRAISING DANCE CONCERTS to be held by the ALLIANCE DANCE TEAM. But as I have an URGENT PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT tonight, July 21, 2017; I will cordially invite my ASPAC colleagues to the SECOND FUNDRAISING DANCE CONCERT scheduled on July 28, 2017 also at 6:00 PM at the HENRY LEE IRWIN THEATER at the ATENEO.

[Legend: 1 – The family then of Ate Elsa headed by Tia Mising (i.e. Maxima Tobias-Pabale) and Tio Santos (i.e. Crisanto Pabale) lives in F. Muñoz Street in Paco, Manila. And we will always be there during the district’s FIESTA. The late Tia Mising is my late Mommy Norma’s sister, actually the 3^rd eldest child among the brood of EIGHT (8) chidren of my late maternal grandparents, Ciriaco Tobias and Petra Rivera-Tobias.

 2 – PANCIT is a noodle dish. And the PANCIT that Tiya Mising cooks is for me the BEST!

3 – Tiya MISING, as earlier said is Maxima Tobias-Pabale, the 3^rd eldest child of my late maternal grandparents, Ciriaco Tobias and Petra Rivera-Tobias.

4 – Ate ELSA is the third child of Tia MISING and Tio SANTOS.

5 – Ate LODY is Melody Pabale-Dacanay. Ate LODY is the eldest child of the Pabale household. During those times when we were young, Ate LODY was sort of strict.

6 –  The late Kuya BOY is the second child in the Pabale household and Kuya BOY was sort of a defiant and intractable child, for which reason, for some time, Tio Santos brought Kuya Boy to our household to live with us and be acclimatized with the  disciplinarian ways of Daddy Max. At times, Kuya BOY who is older than me (about 5 years my senior or so), would bully and brow-beat me.

7 – Tio SANTOS is the late Crisanto Pabale, husband of the late Tia MISING and father to Ate ELSA, Ate LODY, the late Kuya BOY and all their other siblings.

8 – Daddy Max would almost always insure then that we leave our Murphy, Cubao home very EARLY via a taxicab (around 9:00 AM); as if we’ll be late it would be hard then already to navigate the crowded streets of PACO, MANILA due to the convergence of visitors/guests-attendees to the FIESTA which FIESTA-STYLE dining and feasting would reach the peak around noon time and the streets will be filled with people already. And, the F. Muñoz Street is a little bit narrow and cramped.

9 – Employment at the CENTRAL BANK is a dream among college graduates then. The reason is because the compensation package at the CENTRAL BANK is very much attractive…so pricey, upscale and even extravagant. It would be pure luck plus connections that spell one’s chance to be taken in as employee at the CENTRAL BANK which is now known as BANGKO SENTRAL NG PILIPINAS.

10 – RAISING FUND is the FUNDRAISING DRIVE put up by my daughters’ through the initiative of my youngest daughter, Winnalee “ALEE” Young.

11 – Ate ELSA chipped in Php 3,000.00 to my daughters’ FUNDRAISER for their quest to WIN the GOLD in the 2017 WORLD HIPHOP INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION to be held in Phoenix, Arizona on August 7-12, 2017. For achieving a RHYME, please pronounce “THOU” as “TAW”.

12 – ONE HUNDRED GRAND means ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND. Perhaps, FIFTY THOUSAND would be OKEY and GOOD ENOUGH, Ate ELSA…he,he,he…]

She indeed has those alluring and tantalizing EYES,

And she’d sort of wink uttering those diurnal and nightly BYES³!

As a CANCER⁴ person she’s capable to set a BOLD TARGET,^4a

She has excellent skills for VIVID IMAGINATION… wanna BET?

She too is SO SPIRITED and very ENERGETIC,

As she prefers action instead of just a PLAN or a SKETCH⁵!

In February 2009, I got so very excited,

I was going to trek to AFRICA¹, a land I felt was so BENIGHTED²;

But it was in ALGERIA³ and it bolstered  more EUPHORIA⁴,

For its capital is ALGIERS⁵, and it gave me added FANTASIA⁶!

I was to accompany New Kanlaon⁷’s BOSS,

His name is ROLLY S. NARCISO⁸ and I’m supposed to BOOST⁹—

The negotiating style of Sir ROLLY,

As we’re going to  snag a contract¹⁰ and not to DILLY-DALLY!

Indeed, it was so quick and CUSHY¹¹,

We got the contract as the JAPS¹² were a bit EASY¹³;

For the meetings never had any DIGRESSION¹⁴,

And it ended with a DRINKING SESSION¹⁵!

The beer seemed even BETTER then,

It’s brand name I remember is TRIPLE SEVEN¹⁶,

But when we came home to PINAS,

SAN MIG LIGHT which is Rolly’s brand¹⁷  still is the top of the CLASS!

But a FEARFUL and FUNNY thing happened,

That was at the ALGIERS airport around past ELEVEN¹⁸;

We were happy having snatched the CONTRACT,

And we were leaving for our country, we’re on TRACK¹⁹!

And the Immigration Officer was STRICT²⁰,

He detained me for long, ‘twas a “RESTRICT”²¹;

And I shelled out some dollars for my LIBERTY,

Thereafter, I tried to locate my friend ROLLY²²…

And as I recited my SITUATION,

ROLLY snickered and seemed to be overcome with ABOMINATION;

He got extorted with DOLLARS too,

And it’s even double the amount I THREW²³!

Well, indeed those money got THROWN,

But Rolly’s DONATION for my kids is for a THRONE²⁴;

They have been aspiring to become CHAMPION²⁵,

I hope with Rolly’s help it would come to a FRUITION!

[Legend: 1 – The first report which was conveyed to me in early  February 2009 when I was tasked to accompany Mr. Rolando S. Narciso aka Sir Rolly who was then the President of New Kanlaon Construction, Inc. (with my father-in-law Antonio S. Evangelista, as Chairman) was that I will be traveling with Sir Rolly somewhere in AFRICA.

2 – As I have never been to AFRICA, my impression was that as has been featured in some movies, AFRICA was relatively undeveloped and sort of “uncivilized”, thus perhaps, the term “benighted” would be more poltically correct.

3 – ALGERIA is located in North Africa and the Mediterranean Sea sort of separates it from Europe.

4 – The thought to traveling to ALGERIA gave me much happiness and elation as its capital ALGIERS is the customary locale and transitory destination  of characters as performed by actors and actresses in most spy-thriller movies.

5 – ALGIERS, as earlier said, is the capital of ALGERIA.

6 –  FANTASIA is imagination and the thought of going to Algiers, as our port of entry will be Algeria’s capital, sort of elated my imagination as I fantasized about those spy-thriller movies.

7 – NEW KANLAON CONSTRUCTION, Inc. (“NKCI”) is the construction company where Sir Rolly was then the President while my father-in-law, Antonio S. Evangelista, is the Chairman.

8 – ROLLY S. NARCISO is more formally known as Rolando S. Narciso. Prior to his designation as President of NKCI, Sir Rolly served as President too of the National Steel Corporation.

9 – I was tasked to provide legal support to Sir Rolly Narciso in trying to snag as quick as possible a contract, actually, a MANPOWER SUPPLY AGREEMENT, aimed towards sending engineers and other technical people to Algeria in connection with a road-building project thereat. I am indeed thankful for Sir Rolly Narciso, as when he was directed by my father-in-law, ANTONIO S. EVANGELISTA, to go to Algeria to negotiate the contract, and while my father-in-law was intent to send an engineer to accompany Sir Rolly Narciso; Sir Rolly demanded for a lawyer to accompany him, and not an engineer. Thus, I got the slot to be Sir Rolly Narciso’s companion to the Algerian trip.

10 – The CONTRACT was the aforesaid MANPOWER SUPPLY AGREEMENT.

11 – The talks towards snagging a CONTRACT was CUSHY as there never was any impediment which obstructed the undemanding flow of the discussion.

12- JAPS – The principal contractor which bagged the contract with the Algerian government was a Japanese contractor by the name of KAJIMA CONSTRUCTION, INC. and KAJIMA’s officers assigned in Algeria were all Japanese.

13 – The discussion to snag a CONTRACT turned easy as KAJIMA has had an experience in the Philippines with NKCI as their sub-contractor in a similar road-building project at TPLEX.

14 – The meeting never had any DIGRESSION as it was done continuously.

15 –  After the talks got concluded, our Japanese hosts served as BEER.

16 – The brand of the BEER which was served to us was TRIPLE SEVEN and I was told that it was imported from France. I then thought at first that it was some kind of European beer. But it turned out that it was also brewed in the U.S.A.

17 – SAN MIG LIGHT is Sir Rolly’s favorite beer.

18 –  We stayed only for a week in Algeria and after snagging the contract, we hied off to the airport in Algiers and we were at the airport around past 11 A.M.

19 – We were really on TRACK as it was Sir Rolly’s estimation that we could do our job there in Algeria within a period of ONE (1) week.

20 – The IMMIGRATION Officer at the Immigration Desk when we were at the Algiers Airport on our way back to the Philippines looked like “Saddam Hussein”. It turned out (and we were not priorly informed, that all currencies including US dollars have to be declared/reported upon arrival in Algeria via the execution of a disclosure statement) that having in one’s possession undeclared money is a violation of Algerian law. Thus, I was detained for questioning and was restricted to pass through immigration for almost an hour.

21 – RESTRICT is used here as a noun, instead of the term “RESTRICTION” just as to achieve a RHYME.

22 –   Sir ROLLY went in earlier than me into the IMMIGRATION DESK as I stopped by and went around the lobby of the Algiers airport looking for some items as “PASALUBONG” or gifts to bring to the Philippines.

23 – The term THREW is being used as the BRIBE money given to the Algerian Immigration Officer as it was in fact something THROWN and is eventually LOST.

24 – The term THRONE is metaphorically being used here as in the event my daughters’ (and son-in-law’s) hiphop dance teams are proclaimed as CHAMPIONS (in the 2017 WORLD HIPHOP INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION (“WHHI”) to be held in Phoenix, Arizona on August 7-12, 2017), they will virtually be deemed as KINGS and QUEENS of HIPHOP. Indeed, when I solicited for donations from kith and kin for the WHHI competition, Sir ROLLY eagerly threw in a modestly huge cash donation.

25 – My daughters SHAYNA and CHESKA were previously members of the compete team of the UP STREET DANCE Team. In 2012 the UP STREET DANCE TEAM, using their team name as THE CREW, was declared as CHAMPION of the 2012 WHHI. In 2013, UP STREET DANCE TEAM placed 2^nd Runner-Up. Now, my daughters are representing the Philippines in the 2017 WHHI under TWO (2) teams: the LEGIT STATUS and ALLIANCE Teams where Shayna is Team Manager for LEGIT (LEGIT’s coach Vimi Rivera is my son-in-law) and Cheska is Team Manager for ALLIANCE (ALLIANCE’s coach JJ San Juan is Cheska’s BF). LEGIT was 4^th Runner-Up in the 2015 WHHI in the Megacrew Division and 1^st Runner-Up in the Varsity Division; while ALLIANCE was 2^nd Runner-Up in the Megacrew Division in the 2016 WHHI.]

 [Manolo aka MANOLO NAVASCA, a GENUINE ILOCANO of a FILIPINO, who now resides in San Diego, California was our friendly and funny tour guide when he toured us around (i.e. me and Daddy MAX) in August 2015 in TIJUANA, MEXICO. Manolo donated US $ 100 to the FUNDRAISING DRIVE for my daughters’ participation in the 2017 WORLD HIPHOP INTERNATIONAL CONTEST to be held on August 7-13, 2017 in Phoenix,Arizona. I would not be surprised (as Manolo is fun of pulling up surprises), if Manolo would put in another US $ 900.00 to make his DONATION a PURE GRAND! THANK YOU AGAIN MANOLO!]

He’s actually a classmate of my brother WINSTON¹,

But MANOLO² is so sociable and so FRIENDLY-PRONE;

Though at FIRST BLUSH you’d suspect him as an ISIS-TERRORIST,

But when you’ve had a talk with him, he’s so FUNNY and a true PACIFIST!

When I and Daddy Max trekked to the U.S. in 2015³,

Part of our itinerary was a MUST to see him;

And thereafter MANOLO brought us to TIJUANA⁴,

He introduced us to a lot of DAMAS⁵ and a belle named Georgina⁶!

And in TIJUANA, MEXICO; Manolo acted like a POLITICO—

He even called by his first name the parking attendant at the CENTRO⁷;

Those MEJICANOS treated him as though he’s their TOP HONCHO and BOSS,

Even the Manager at the RESTO, which dining hall was POSH!

Anent the DAMAS—Manolo said they were celebrating their BIRTHDAY MOMENTS⁸,

‘Twas the reason perhaps they were sporting their BIRTHDAY RAIMENTS;

Daddy Max was amazed and was sort of DISGRACED,

And we dashed out of the parlor, as though in a RACE!

And Manolo gifted me and Daddy Max with PERFUME,

And it’s his brand w/c according to him is truly a LURE;

Per Manolo’s recital the cologne could entice a pretty BELLE,

And I’ve emptied the BOTTLE, still—  NO BELLE but just an empty SHELL!

And MANOLO who has since RETIRED,

Would dine with friends and sip coffee, a brand which is most ADMIRED;

Indeed, he loves the STARBUCKS coffee brand,

He’ll be donating to my CAUSE a sure dollar GRAND⁹!

But as he has not as yet received his PENSION,

He has partially donated some sort of a PORTION;

And has vowed to put up the rest of his DONATION,

When we’re in TIJUANA after cranking out a quick REUNION¹⁰!

2 – MANOLO is Manolo Navasca, who was Winston’s classmate at the Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School (“CGEAHS”) in Quezon City, Metro-Manila.

3 – In August 2015, I and Daddy Max trekked to the U.S. principally to cheer and root for my daughters who entered the 2015 WORLD HIPHOP INTERNATIONAL CONTEST as members of the LEGIT STATUS Team. The dance competition was held in San Diego, California with the FINALS at the Viejas Arena. LEGIT STATUS land 4^th Runner-Up in a field of competitors from 53 nations.

4 – Exiting from San Diego, the first town of Mexico is TIJUANA. Thus, upon the invitation of Manolo, I and Daddy Max was toured by Manolo in Tijuana, Mexico.

5 – DAMAS is Spanish for DAMES or LADIES.

6 –  I forgot the name of the Mexican lady which sort of acted as  the top star at the parlor; but just as to achieve some rhyme, the name GEORGINA is here  used to rhyme with TIJUANA.

7 – CENTRO would mean the center in that district in Tijuana, Mexico where Manolo brought us and toured us around.

8 – At a parlor, actually, a day club; Manolo brought us in and all the ladies inside where donned in their birthday suits.

9 – Actually, Manolo has donated via WESTERN UNION transmittal, US $ 100.00 already. But as I know that Manolo is full of surprises, I would not be astonished if Manolo would put in another US $ 900.00 to make his donation a PURE GRAND via the GENEROSITY.COM FNDRAISER so that if Manolo’s Mexican amigos and amigas would see his name as DONOR; they (those Mejicanos y Mejicanas) would surely put in  a peso or two to the FUNDRAISER PAGE.

10 – Well, if Senyor Manolo would challenge me to go back to that Tijuana day club in Mexico, as a precondition for the US Dollar GRAND, I will be pleased to have that QUICK REUNION in Tijuana, Mexico.]
