Following  a  call  made  with MERALCO, the off-the-cuff commitment made was for the  arrival  of  MERALCO  emergency  service  team  (due  to  the  high  number  of customers  needing  emergency  assistance)  at  a  low  of  3  to  a  high  of  6  hours. However,  the  hospitable  and  benevolent  sway  of  my next-door neighbors, gave me  the  realization  that  they  are  friends  INDEED  and  neighbors THOROUGHLY IMBEDDED! As has been usual in our electric CONNECTION,

There will be episodes of POWER INTERRUPTION…

But what happened this afternoon at 5, is a seeming DISCONNECTION;

The line-wire to our home got cut in a BUSTED POWER MENSURATION!

As I was a little bit UNDER THE WEATHER,

Unable to tinker on matters pertaining to POWER;

My good neighbors came to my RESCUE…

As though they were mandated to HELP ME IN A QUEUE!

Thanks to my jolly neighbors DENNIS BALLO and DOY UBALDO,

Thanks too, to the suave MARK ZAMBRANO;

As I was sort of trying to heal an AILMENT…

They did for me what to me was supposed to be INCUMBENT!

As the circuit breaker was behind the APARADOR,

And its weight was so heavy just like the hammer of THOR…

I was awed as they emptied and moved IT;

TRULY a bunch of loving families that’s CLOSE-KNIT!

In our pleasant community at K-VILLE,

Helping one another has become a natural SKILL;

It indeed must be PROPAGATED and EMULATED,

For in such show of goodness, those acts must truly be FELICITATED!

Per my quaint and sedulous PHYSICIAN,

Only 3 regions in our body need thorough ABLUTION;

The armpit, the pubic and the rectal DISTRICT;

Thorough washing of all body parts is a RESTRICT!

 Never ever use a LOOFAH, a GOURD or a BRUSH;

For delicate skins might result in a GASH…

And infection could set in and that would be SERIOUS,

The aftermath and pain of which, could be DELIRIOUS!

Using much alcohol to sanitize one’s HANDS,

Does not work like magic, as though they’re wizard’s WANDS;

Allergies could just ensue in case of much IRRITATION,

Frequent alcohol-use could result in much skin-DEHYDRATION!

Another tip that needs some CEREBRATION…

Which news could actually bring lot’s of CELEBRATION;

Is that advice against frequent SHAMPOOING,

It must not be that frequent to avoid  HAIR-THINNING/BALDING!

In this ULTRA WEATHER that we now EXPERIENCE…

Nagustuhan at nasarapan sya sa FRIZZLED SALMON,

Kaya tuloy nabaling ang atensyon sa masusing PAGLAMON!

Syempre did a lot of singing and it was so very FINE;

And his singing moved on, us though he wanted MORE!

Para daw sa singing nya ay meron siyang KATABI!

At nang matapos na ang INUMA’T HUNTAHAN,

Itong si NIDES ay may nasabing KATOTOHANAN…

Noong siya pala’y inimbita kong SUMAMA,

Aba’y nasa HAWAII pala siya’t nag-SI-SIESTA!

Kasama namin sana itong si MARVIN GONONG,

Dahil ang bahay nya mula sa Law Office ay mga halos sampung ikot ng GULONG;

MBA graduate at malagong ang BOSES!

Sa kanan nya naman ay si AGATON ABELLERA,

Atras-abante and silya kapag siya’y nasa loob ng ESKUWELA…

Dahil kapag “recitation” PUSH-and-PULL ang KAMADA;

Ang bakanteng sa harap nyang silya, ‘di tuloy maka-PARADA!

Si BENJU DE LA PAZ namang taga-MARIKINA,
