I was so busy yesterday (and as VIC made it a point to be at the Law Office when it is very necessary ONLY), my staff (who were similarly BUSY, sort of digitizing PEFTOK’s list of past scholars), the matter of VIC’s birthday came to pass unannounced. Well, as for me, I can pop up the alibi of plain SENIOR MOMENTS; and my staff’s BUSY MOMENTS!]

But your birthdate skipped my MEMORY, until I saw ROSE’s FB ENTRY- –
Thought at first, ‘twas a birthday greetings to some CELEBRITY!
Was sort of swayed to think that WAY…

Was a look alike of Hollywood actor TELLY SAVALAS- –
After a quick perusal, I really went AGHAST!
A feeling of AGHAST indeed overcome ME…
‘Cos I earlier sent you (’twas yesterday), a mail matter around TWO THIRTY;
And ROSE (as we spoke earlier) thought that I might have sent you a GIFT – –
As I instructed LITO to bring to you the mail matter QUICK!
A feeling of embarrassment has also dawned on ME…
But truly Bossing VIC, I was so really BUSY;
Intent at publishing all FUN RHYMES, that I have CRAFTED – –
Those FUN RHYMES that haven’t seen its publication in the WEB!
For a LEO born on July 24th, is extroverted, creative and independent by NATURE…
Methinks perhaps you’ve opted to hoist your BIRTHDAY FLAG alone, sans any PLEASURE;
For while you’re sociable who loves to give and receive compliments, you’re driven too to party on your OWN – –
Perhaps, the bigger party will be a SMORGASBORD of food (at our office), weighing perhaps a tenth of a TON!

They can easily adapt to the needs and situations that change so CONSTANTLY;

While we post-celebrate your birthday at today’s lunch, with FOOD “FUNTASTIC”!
It’s not so truly FANTASTIC, my FRIEND, don’t guess so QUICK…
It will be FUN for us, as we’ll order food enwrapped in PLASTIC;
‘Cos FE, has some errands, and won’t be able to cook TODAY – –
Thus, we’ll fantasize FE’s cooking, and we’ll add in our menu, MCDO’s SUNDAE!
Let’s just do another post-celebration, when JOVY’s seafood is DELIVERED…
Then, we’ll ask FE to cook her best MENUDO which is “LIVERED”;
Perhaps by then, you’ve forgiven my forgetfulness and ME – –
And let’s THEN savor the prawns, king crabs, and fishes from far-flung MARINDUQUE!
