FUN  RHYME  SERIES 225: A PICNIC BASKET FOR JILL’S AND REVIN’S WEDDING

 

 

‘Tis indeed a happy and momentous occasion,

It’s the wedding of my Kumpadre’s scion;

She is named JILL and is so JOYFUL,

I have to think of a gift that’s truly WONDERFUL!

 

 

 

Thus, I have chosen to gift them with a PICNIC BASKET…

It connotes of JOY and a wondrous TREK;

As JILL is a true FITNESS BUFF…

I hope REVIN won’t speak to her in a GRUFF!

 

 

 

What indeed this PICNIC BASKET means…

Is something that one who’ll be wed DREAMS,

PEACE and JOY in life and merriment…

Ne’er think though that such joy won’t end!

 

 

 

Life indeed is a graph of UPS and DOWNS,

There’ll be tears and playful CLOWNS…

But never ever forget that with God’s guidance,

The DOWNS will go UP; never ever feel so ASKANCE!

 

In case you’d have some SPATS, it would come; it’s TRUE…

Just think of the PICNIC BASKET, when you’re both BLUE;

And you’ll remember those JOLLY moments…

In a picnic ground with so many TENTS!

 

 

 

JILL I’m sure prepared for this WEDDING,

Even made sure that her figure is SLIM;

With those daily jogs and at times RUNNING,

JILL indeed is now an image of fitness and VIM!

 

 

 

With respect to REVIN, as I haven’t known HIM,

I just wish that you’ll truly love JILL;

Always feel that life could be sunny and at times DIM…

With divine guidance, you could avoid any CHILL!

 

 

 

 Be wary too that problems would COME,

But always be confident and feel so HANDSOME,

You’ll truly be both TESTED and even TRIED,

Feel always that you’re both still

a glad GROOM and a very gay BRIDE!
